Well what an incredible weekend in Brisbane for the PPA 1500!
A great atmosphere and an awesome experience for both Ryder and I to spend some time together watching the Pros play and supporting each others matches.
Ryder was extremely lucky to have an experience of a lifetime and getting to play his Gold medal match in the U14 boys doubles with Beau Dawson on the centre court of the Pat Rafter Arena! They were unlucky in the final losing to a strong pair who turned it up for the final, as the boys had shocked them and taken them down in the pools.
Thank you to my doubles partner @ryanmorrispb unfortunately we missed out on the gold medal match with me going down on my ankle at 13-13 to them lose 15-13! But we pulled it together and smashed the bronze game 15-2!
Thanks to my mixed doubles partner nina_j_pb unfortunately we just missed out making finals rounds, and with our last game of pools was an absolute epic match going down 17-15!! won’t say what the score was earlier in the game! 🙈
Thank you to all the staff and volunteers behind the scenes @ppatour.australia for making it such an incredible tournament and the venue was also next level. Also another special mention to @cocolococo_pb for all your encouragement and support with Ryder he is very lucky to have you give him some very valuable advise! 😊
Until next time Picke Out! 🥒

Congratulations once again to Nelson Wong for winning his 2nd Special Olympics tennis tournament held in Dural on Sunday 20th September. Playing in hot conditions Nelson won all 5 matches showing his determination, sportsmanship and love for the sport. We look forward to following and supporting Nelson in upcoming events.

We continued our Tennis Club Champs from last weekend yesterday with finishing off with our Advanced Singles Event. Perfect weather for great tennis. We also had our Pickleball Club Champs which did not disappoint. 👌💪🤩
